When it came to naming our first product launch, we chose “ABUNDANCE.” The word is rich with meaning—different for everyone yet universally desired. It captures the essence of personalization and purpose, themes that are central to everything we do at THE RATIO.
But ABUNDANCE isn’t just about material wealth. It’s about what makes life meaningful, fulfilling, and uniquely yours.

A Fresh Take on Personalization
Monogrammed initials have been a standard in fashion for decades, but we wanted something different—something more dynamic and personal. Why should personalization stop at initials? Numbers hold a fascinating power in our lives:

When designing ABUNDANCE, we played with the idea of incorporating numbers. Inspired by European film festival posters and artwork, we began experimenting with overlaying graphic elements on our designs. At some point, a number appeared—and it just clicked. It was bold, fresh, and deeply personal. Why not give people the ability to choose a number that resonates with them? And just like that, the working title became the final name.
Why Not Another "Mercer" or "Bleecker"?
Let’s face it: every NYC street name has been claimed by fashion brands. From Mercer to Bleecker to Mulberry, the trend has reached its limit. At THE RATIO, we wanted to step away from the predictable and toward something that feels truly personal and unique.
