Each hide has been rescued from going to waste and has never been used on a final product before. That means your bag may arrive with natural variations, subtle markings, or tonal shifts—these are not flaws. They’re a celebration of the leather’s journey and a key part of what makes your Ratio bag unique.

Leather is a living material. Over time, it will soften, develop character, and form a rich patina that tells your story. Nicks and scratches may appear—that’s part of the beauty. We embrace this aging process as a feature, not a flaw.

Leather Types

• Pebbled Leather
  Structured and resilient, our pebbled leather is naturally more scratch-resistant and ideal for everyday use. It holds its shape beautifully and wears in slowly, revealing depth and texture over time.

• Smooth Leather
  Sleek and modern, our smooth leather is more vulnerable to marks but wears into a softer, more nuanced finish. Without a heavy protective coating, it’s meant to age gracefully—each crease and scuff becoming part of its story.

Caring for Your Bag

• We do not recommend using leather treatments, oils, or conditioners. The leather is meant to evolve naturally.

• Rain is not a problem—your bag can handle getting wet. Just allow it to air dry if needed.

• For any spots or buildup, a damp cloth and gentle wipe-down is all you need.
